Description
The easyINFOBOX is an extremely robust and waterproof PP/ABS box. The box includes an autonomous AIS system with AIS receiver and integrated chart plotter, enabling the position of AIS objects in the area to be displayed. The easyINFOBOX has a connection to an FM antenna and a power connection for the on-board network.
Function
The AIS receiver receives the AIS data as soon as the box has been connected to an existing VHF antenna. The special AIS radio signals are processed internally and forwarded to the chart plotter in the box as a data protocol. The data is formatted in such a way that the chartplotter can display the information received on the screen.
