The Jason’s Cradle Scramble Net is proven to aid in the safe and speedy recovery of personnel in the preferred horizontal position.
SOLAS Type Approved by Lloyd’s Register and guaranteed for 3 years.
The Jason’s Cradle Scramble Net is simply fixed to the deck or rail to enable deployment within seconds and can be easily rolled up for stowage. It can be used in the same way as a Standard Jason’s Cradle to retrieve casualties horizontally or climbed by able bodied personnel as a scramble net.
In deployment the Jason’s Cradle forms a non-collapsible scoop.
The casualty is guided into the unit and is then retrieved by rolling up and onto the deck in the medically preferred horizontal position.
The rigid construction and special design give the operator a 2 to 1 mechanical advantage during the lift.
When used as a scramble net the easily accessible foot and handholds and the rigid, ladder like construction make climbing easy.
The Jason’s Cradle Scramble Net can be supplied in widths up to 2,100mm and is available in various lengths suitable for freeboards up to 5 metres.
Multiple units may be positioned side by side to achieve larger rescue zones.
Large numbers of passengers and crew may simultaneously disembark in the event of an emergency.
